Yup, and before anyone asks, this was a diesel bus. So far this year there
have been at least four fires on TfL buses, three in January. Two happened
in electric vehicles and one in a hybrid.

Yup, and before anyone asks, this was a diesel bus. So far this year there
have been at least four fires on TfL buses, three in January. Two happened
in electric vehicles and one in a hybrid.
To be clear the routes are TfL. The buses are provided, operated and
maintained by various contractors.

Yes, apart from the Boris Buses, which are owned by TfL (as no leasing company would touch them).

No, they're run by the normal contract operators, such as MetroLine.
